He caught 12 receptions for 132 yards as a freshman. Goedeke transferred to Central Michigan University after the season. He switched from tight end to the offensive line during his first season at CMU while redshirting. As a redshirt sophomore, he was selected to start all 14 of the Chippewas’ games at right tackle. Goedeke’s knee injury kept him out of the 2020 season. As a redshirt junior, he was selected to the first team of the Mid-American Conference.
